Flight Training > Courses > Trial Flight

Whether you are just looking to experience the thrill of piloting a light aircraft or considering a course, NPPL, PPL or CPL, the trial lesson is the ideal place to start.

The lesson itself lasts about one and half hours and comprises a pre flight brief, an hour in the air and a debrief. You will sit in the left-hand seat "the captains seat", whilst your CAA approved instructor will talk you through the flight.

Your lesson starts with a classroom briefing session lasting about 20 minutes. Your Instructor will explain the controls of the aircraft and how they work which will prepare you to take control under supervision during your lesson.

During the hour you can concentrate on learning to fly or take a more relaxed approach and see the sites around Bristol.

The flight itself from our base here at Bristol Airport lasts for a full hour so you have time to take in the sights as well as experience the thrill of being a Pilot first hand.

Your flight will be conducted in a Cherokee PA28; a four-seat piston engined aircraft, which flies around the sky at more than 120mph.

A Trial Lesson costs just £150.00 inc. VAT

As you can imagine a Trial Lesson voucher would also make an ideal gift for someone who has always wanted to fly.
